 Let me present the smallest of the exhibition paintings, Shimmer at Skeppargatan! I wanted to capture a special light that sometimes covers the streets around the city harbor here in Stockholm. Skeppargatan has this perfect located spot with a few benches that is a great place to both sit rest for a while, and simultaneously catch some sun-rays. As such, I have had that street and memories from there on my mind when painting. I think that I managed to convey that shimmering light on the canvas, and I like how peaceful the people look. Almost as if they are completely stress-free, out on a Sunday stroll.
