Inspired by warm summer nights on Norrmalmstorg in central Stockholm. In this painting, I wanted to capture the warm atmosphere that prevails in Stockholm during the summer and the fashionable people who are strolling around. Specific to this painting is how I have worked with rain. During the painting's drying process, I let it rain over the painting, which has given rise to exciting patterns in the painting, which I then filled in with gold. There is something amazing about letting go of control over the motif as an artist.
