I often create my paintings with a warm golden light since that is something I perceive as harmonious. This is also a reason why gold frames fit extremely nicely to my paintings as the frame brings out the gold in the paintings. This painting "Stureplan" can be interpreted in many ways, but one of my interpretations is how the sun shines after rain and how the light is reflected in the wet street.
